About this specialty
The PADI Digital Underwater Photography specialty teaches professional techniques for capturing the beauty of the underwater world. This course combines photography principles with the unique challenges of the aquatic environment, allowing you to document your underwater adventures with exceptional quality.
During 2 days of practical training, you will learn underwater artistic composition, lighting techniques in different conditions, configuration and use of digital underwater equipment, and basic editing principles. The course includes practice with different types of marine life, underwater landscapes, and techniques specific to each environment.
As a Digital Underwater Photographer, you will be able to document your underwater adventures with professional quality, share the beauty of the oceans, and even develop a career in the field. This specialty combines a passion for diving with artistic expression, creating lasting memories of your underwater experiences.
What you will learn
Course structure
Classroom
Development of theoretical knowledge about Underwater Photography.
Sub Workshop
We will check the entire sub photography system, performing preventive maintenance, checking the watertightness of the box, and testing the three-dimensional buoyancy of the system.
Open Waters
We will have two open water dives to practice what we learned in the other modules, capturing images and diving as underwater photographers!
Post Production
After capturing our images, we have an editing clinic to adjust our photos.
