The PADI Underwater Navigator specialty develops essential underwater orientation skills, making you a more confident and independent diver. Through the use of a compass, natural landmarks, and advanced navigation techniques, you will learn to accurately orient yourself in the underwater environment.
During 2 days of focused training, you will master compass navigation techniques, identification and use of underwater natural landmarks, and methods for accurately returning to the entry point. The course includes square, triangular, and natural reference navigation, as well as techniques for estimating distances and controlling dive patterns.
As a certified Underwater Navigator, you will gain complete independence in your dives, allowing you to explore new sites with confidence and always return to the entry point with precision. This skill is essential for divers who want to lead dives or explore unknown sites.
