The Horical Quarry is a unique day destination, home to many technical divers’ training. It offers a calm and peaceful environment that allows for the fellowship of various diving tribes. Speaking of fellowship, during the outing, we have the option of a traditional breakfast and a delicious farm lunch on a wood-fired stove. Located in Guapiara, São Paulo, it offers crystal-clear waters with exceptional visibility. The rock formations of the old quarry create a unique underwater landscape, with vertical walls and some shipwrecks (cars, dumpsters, etc.) that provide a safe and resourceful training experience.
The Mina da Passagem is a unique experience: diving in a completely flooded 18th-century gold mine. The preserved tunnels and galleries offer a window into the history of colonial Brazil. This is the only place in the world where it is possible to technically dive in a historic mine preserved as a cultural heritage site.
Laje de Santos is considered the best diving spot on the São Paulo coast and among the best diving spots in Brazil. With visibility reaching 20 meters and breathtaking biodiversity, Laje de Santos is located 22 nautical miles offshore, about an hour and a half away.
Lake Furnas is an iconic destination for technical diving. Formed by the Furnas Hydroelectric Power Plant dam, the lake boasts fascinating underwater structures, including submerged bridges, houses, and churches. The rich aquatic life and calm waters make it an ideal location for advanced technical training and decompression diving.
