PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox)
Use of nitrox for extended bottom time and greater decompression safety
Sobre a especialidade PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox)
The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) specialty introduces the use of oxygen-enriched air for extended bottom time and reduced surface intervals. This is one of the most popular and practical specialties for recreational and technical divers.
During 1 day of theoretical and practical training, you will learn gas analysis, nitrox planning, and the use of oxygen analyzers. The course covers different nitrox mixtures (EANx32 and EANx36), calculation of maximum operating depths, and specific safety procedures.
As an Enriched Air Diver, you will be able to enjoy longer dives, especially on repetitive dives, with a greater decompression safety margin. This certification is a prerequisite for advanced technical courses and is widely accepted by dive operators around the world.
